My Biggest Insecurity

I've decided that my first weekspiration video would be in revealing my biggest insecurity. This was by far the hardest thing I have committed myself to doing.

I understand we have a lot of strings attached to us and before we can move forward, it is not a matter of letting going, because that of which is detached can easily be reattached, however, it calls for us to burn these tides or they will surely return. So many people let go of things that are not fixed and it returns to haunt them. So remember don't let go of anything until it is fixed, and once you have detached yourself from it and burned it, you will be able to move forward un-bothered, un-afraid, and un-intimidated. Although that had entirely nothing to do with my weekspiration video, it was a necessary message to share.

Back on topic

In this video I define insecurities while expressing ways to work past them, but this video more so focus on me revealing my biggest insecurity. I initially was doing a test recording with no intentions of uploading the video, hence, you'll notice that I completely spoke from what came to mind first. However, after giving it great thought, I came to the conclusion it definitely should be my first video in order to reveal a little more of myself. Each year I find myself growing in confidence and learning to love the woman God has molded me into as well as molding me to become. I hope it inspires you all to accept your flaws and move on to better things to worry about.

Being Afraid to Fail is Being Afraid to Succeed

Being Afraid to Fail is Being Afraid to Succeed

"NEVER let them tell you to be realistic."

So many times do we pressure people to be realistic with their dreams, persuading them that setting unrealistic goals is actually setting yourself up for disappointment. I once believe in a concept of "expect less, less disappointments." But that has changed.

What we are telling each other is that, it is not okay to not always reach our goals, it is not okay to fail, it is not okay to fall, it is not okay to be rejected. When the reality of it all is that the ONLY thing we do better than failing is succeeding. The only way to get to success is but by falling a few times. And if we are afraid to fall we are afraid to succeed. And if we are afraid of struggle we are afraid of wealth. You will be rejected, however, start viewing you rejections as redirection. For it is not the end of the road, you were simply granted a 'WRONG WAY' sign, and unfortunately not everyone is given that luxury. Be grateful.

We shouldn't be teaching each other the only way to avoid disappointment is to not raise the bar. That is preaching fear, which fear is like a tumor if you don't kill it, it will continue to grow stronger and fester on everything that cross it's path. How many of you are living with tumors today? How many of you are going to continue to allow these tumors to fester on your dreams?

Never allow fear to alter the decisions you make in life, for you will end up no where. Fear is like a circle it will have you going round and round and round, with no destination. Don't get caught up in these circles of fear. Don't let the pressure of tradition plan out your life and hand you a manual telling you step by step how to get to where THEY want you to go. Start your own manual. We are all unique and different and we should all live accordingly. You were given your own head for a reason, to think and make decisions for your being.

NEVER let them tell you to be realistic. Realistic is a cowardly man's excuse for his complacency, and resistance to step out of his comfort zone.

With that mindset we would have never reach heights that didn't exist until the power of perseverance, faith, will, drive, and determination wilt its very being out of our dreams and into 3 dimension.

My new concept of life is always reach for the stars but if you end up on the clouds, praise God for that too
